GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, assists in the distribution and processing of prescriptions, the sale of over-the-counter medications, enters prescription data into the computer, performs billings and file maintenance, receives payments, assists in inventory stocking, and interacts with the public. Reports to pharmacists.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Minimum of six (6) months of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required.
