Our plant located in Sterling Heights, MI is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Operations Supervisor to join our team!
The role of the Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing all production activities and personnel during the assigned shift. This role ensures safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are met while maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. This role will be supporting our afternoon shift from 2PM-10PM EST.
What you'll do- Plan and adjust daily production based on staffing, equipment, and targets
- Coordinate with departments to ensure flow and schedule adherence
- Lead and coach teams to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
- Conduct start-up meetings and communicate goals and updates
- Monitor performance, attendance, and compliance; address issues promptly
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and a respectful work environment
- Oversee SOP compliance, audits, and process stability
- Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement
- Ensure quality standards and collaborate with Quality on issues
- Enforce safety rules, conduct inspections, and support emergency response
- Track metrics, lead Kaizen efforts, and maintain QMS compliance
- Ensure training, documentation, and readiness across all workstations

- 3-5 Years experience within the automotive industry
- Quality knowledge regarding the production line and product
- JIS production experience and maintenance knowledge
- 7 Quality Basics, Standardized work, 5S
- Sufficient experience in Microsoft Office Applications
