Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Process Technician to join our team in Sterling Heights, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control manufacturing processes to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Perform routine inspections and tests on equipment and products.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Document process data and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in the implementation of new processes and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and process instructions.
- Proficient in using process control and monitoring equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed.
This position is based in a manufacturing facility located in Sterling Heights, MI. The role may require standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and adherence to safety protocols.
