3 years of experience as a Boring Mill Operator

ASAP

• Experience operating a Boring Mill with a Fanuc Controller
• Ability to make minor program edits (e.g., changing tool numbers based on the tool list provided by the programmer)
• Proficiency in using measuring tools (e.g., verniers)
• Ability to convert between inch and metric units

• Must be familiar with Fanuc Control systems.
• Must be able to set up parts in machine.
• Must be familiar with setting tools in machine.
• Must be able to convert inch-metric.
• Must be able to read prints.
• Must be able to hold tolerances listed on prints.
• Must be able to identify tools required to make parts.
• Must be familiar with reading measuring equipment "i.e. Verniers."
• Must be familiar with setting parts with angled surfaces.
• Must be able to load program.
• Must be able to run part from start to finish.
• Must be familiar with making minor edits to programs "i.e. changing a tool number to match what the programmer has listed on the tool list".
• Must be able to operate Hilo.
• Must be able to operate crane.
• Must be able to identify shown vs opposite parts.
