Tempered and Specialty Metals, Inc. (TSM) is seeking a Slitter Operator for our Sterling Heights location.
The role focuses on achieving 95% efficiency on the slitter line and cross-training Slitter Helpers to support Tempered and Specialty Metals. Responsibilities include setting up slitter widths, monitoring coil gauges, entering specifications in the system, coordinating coil staging for maximum efficiency, and safely moving coils with the Hi-lo and overhead crane.
