Job Description

Launch Maintenance Supervisor

· Work with OEMs for equipment documentation and set up plant storage for documentation to interface with Maximo and Ez Max Mobile

· Work with plant maintenance teams to properly set up Maximo with new assets

· Work with OEMs, plant maintenance to identify and properly document PMs, visual job plans, etc.

· Create and maintain launch Maintenance Operating System (MOS) status documentation and scorecard for program. Work with plant, OEMs and PTME to meet MOS timing and deliverables

· Oversee spare part scrub meetings, verify 1295s, attachment to assets, critical spares, etc.

· Develop “Launch MOS Readiness Assessment” by line, station, etc.

· Daily supervision and coordination of all hourly employees

· Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity

· Lead role in resolving machining related concerns, increase machine availability and MTTR

· Identify throughput constraints and drive root cause improvements

Skills Required:

· Preventive Maintenance, Good Manufacturing Practices, Labor Supervision

Skills Preferred:

· Lean Manufacturing, Supervisor, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six-Sigma Training, Leadership

Experience

Required:

5+ yrs of related experience

· Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Maintenance planning and execution in manufacturing environment

· Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience

· 8D and 5

Why corrective action and problem solving skills

· Lean Tools – 5S, Kanban, Poka-yoke, and Value Stream Mapping

· DMAIC and DMADV (DFSS) Project Methodology experience o Kaizen Methods o FMEA, PPAP, and DOE experience

· Visual Factory Management o Ergonomic analysis knowledge and experience

Education Required:

· High School Diploma / GED

Education Preferred:

· Bachelor's Degree
