Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
The HFH Sterling Heights Emergency Department is a 15 bed free-standing facility.
Our staff has a close working relationship. The physicians, nurses, and technicians are all centrally located for ease of collaboration and communication, which leads to a positive work environment.
While a small ED, we are fast paced and work well together. We are looking for a candidate to join our team.
This is a 24 hour a week position. 12-hour shifts.
Shift: 11AM-11PM
Rotating weekends

Required:
BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
1+ Years as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department or ICU.
Certifications/LicensuresRequired:
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
