The role is a 12‑hour Day Shift with a consistent schedule. Join our team of caring professionals at Optalis Health Sterling Heights, where we value service excellence and a supportive environment.

As an LPN, your daily responsibilities include evaluating patients and coordinating CNAs in their care, ensuring patient comfort and safety, following policies and standards, and upholding the facility’s integrity and core values.

Licensed Practical Nurse Duties and Responsibilities
  • Providing great patient care.
  • Establishing a compassionate environment by offering emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients & families.
  • Administering medications and other treatments.
  • Assisting physicians during examinations & procedures.
  • Promoting patient independence by establishing, implementing, and directing care goals.
  • Resolving patient concerns and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
  • Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, such as open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
  • Staying up to date on nurse training & education and facility policy and procedure.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Prefer at least 1 year of experience.
  • Completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program.
  • Active, state‑certified LPN license.
  • Comfortable using a computer.
