Qualifications for a Field Service Technician

• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Valid driver s license and CDL
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural equipment
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent organizational and planning capabilities related to workflow management
• Superior customer service skills related to identifying customer needs and solution implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in performing service repairs

The Role

Schedule: This is a full-time position that primarily operates outside of the dealership. Expect a flexible schedule with after-hours and on-call support required to meet customer needs.

Each day as a Field Service Technician is dynamic and rewarding. You will check your schedule, drive to on-site jobs in your fully-equipped service vehicle, diagnose and repair various pieces of agricultural equipment from tractors to combines, and communicate clearly with customers about the work performed.

Throughout the day you will perform preventive maintenance, use diagnostic tools, and keep detailed records of your work. Safety is paramount and you will follow all regulations to maintain a clean and orderly workspace. The day may end with after-hours on-call support as your expertise supports our customers  success.
