Location:
Sterling, Illinois
- 110 miles west of Chicago
- 70 miles from Rockford
- Community of approximately 25,000 residents
- Independent, 99-bed community hospital with 14 satellite locations
- Hospital-employed physician model
- Full-time position preferred (part-time may be considered)
- Clinical and invasive cardiac electrophysiology
- Procedures required:
Ablations, pacemakers, defibrillators - Facility includes 2 catheterization labs
- Designated Chest Pain Center
- No surgical backup
- Call schedule: 1:3
- 24/7 nursing support available
- Current cardiology team:
- 2 Interventional Cardiologists
- 2 General Cardiologists
- 6 Nurse Practitioners
- Part-time Electrophysiologist
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology/Electrophysiology
- Must have (or be eligible for) unrestricted Illinois medical license
- DEA certification required
- Base salary: $800,000 to $999,000
- Additional production-based bonus potential
