- Illinois Nursing Licensure
- Two (2) years hospice or home care experience
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience (i.e. charge nurse)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Associate Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Monitors all Nursing and CNA staff to ensure that planning and delivery of quality, cost‑effective hospice care is provided through scheduling efforts that reflect both high and low volume.
- Take on‑call, as required.
- Spend at least two days weekly as a patient care provider.
- Help to maintain on‑going physician, nursing home, and hospital relationships.
- Provides education to groups seeking information about hospice and the hospice philosophy.
