Operating Room (OR) Nurse Rural Healthcare Facility, Illinois. This role involves providing perioperative care in a small rural hospital, supporting a range of surgical specialties including General, Urology, Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), Podiatry, Gynecology, and Orthopedics. The position requires flexibility with shifts and potential after-shift case finishes to ensure quality patient care.

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of
  
  Experience:
  
  Active Illinois license, minimum 2 years of operating room experience.
• Schedule:
  
  Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities:
  Assisting in surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including endovascular and obstetric surgeries, maintaining sterile techniques, and supporting a small surgical team. Flexibility to stay after shift to complete cases and potential for call 1-2 days per week, including every 4th/5th weekend (Friday-Monday).
• EMR:
  Cerner system.
• Additional Information:
  The facility features 7 operating rooms, including a cesarean section suite and an endovascular suite, performing approximately 1-2 cesarean deliveries, 6 endovascular cases, and 20-25 cataracts per week.
