Job Description
As a Food Service Worker, you will assist with food preparation, portioning meals, and serving our customers. Under guidance from your manager, you will learn on the job and build strong connections with those you serve. We seek team players who are organized, focused, accountable, and bring a positive attitude every day.
CompensationHourly rate: $17.00 to $17.00.

Job Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of food preparation and product dating.
- Set up and break down stations as directed by the manager.
- Cook and prepare foods per recipes and directions.
- Use accurate portions when preparing and serving items.
- Maintain daily temperature logs.
- Sample all food items before serving to customers.
- Alert management and remove items that fail quality standards.
- Complete opening and closing station checklists.
- Greet customers approaching and leaving the serving line.
- Collect customer feedback on service quality and address complaints while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Maintain a clean workstation, including floors, equipment, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
- Clean and sanitize all work areas and serving utensils.
- Disposal of waste from the service line.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart.
- Assist with daily safety observations and report hazards immediately.
- Cross‑train in additional areas as needed.
- Work in concessions, catering, and special events as required.
- Perform tasks requested by the manager on a weekly, bi‑weekly, or monthly basis.
- Lead and advise the line team on efficient service of customers.
- Request support from utility workers for sanitation as needed.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Team player.
- Serve Safe Certification.
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Food Service experience preferred.
- Capable of frequent lifting and transporting hot food items.
- Ability to work in kitchen areas, with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, chemicals, and other risk conditions.
Roles may involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and/or PPE may be required.
