Financial Advisor – Investment Services Division

Salary: $50,000–$75,000 per year + commission

Location: In-person – Sterling, IL

Our client, a trusted community-based financial institution, is partnering with a well-established investment firm to expand their in-house Investment Services Division. They’re seeking a Financial Advisor to lead and grow an existing book of business while helping clients reach their financial goals. Whether you're a seasoned advisor or an experienced sales professional ready to transition into financial services, this is a unique opportunity to take the next step in your career with a firm that’s deeply committed to your success.

This is a full-time, in-person opportunity offering personalized training, robust institutional support, and the backing of two reputable organizations.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage and grow the division’s current book of business
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Prospect and generate new leads through your network, the bank’s customer base, and community outreach
  • Build and maintain a solid mix of fee-based and commission business
  • Create a strategic business plan and track progress toward division goals
  • Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear, approachable way
What You Bring:
  • Proven ability to build trust and long-term relationships
  • Coachable, self-motivated, and resilient with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy mindset; comfortable using platforms like Docu Sign, eSignature, and Salesforce
  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 Licenses (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire)
  • Life, Health, Disability, and Long-Term Care Insurance Licenses
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Certifications like CFP® or ChFC® a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales or client service experience (financial services or otherwise)
Compensation & Benefits:

Starting compensation of $50,000–$75,000/year, plus commission
