Job Summary

The Ramp Agent's responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading cargo (mail, express, freight, company material) on and off aircraft.
  • Transporting cargo between terminals and aircraft.
  • Performing ramp transfers and handling freight and company materials.
  • Completing necessary forms and messages related to cargo operations.
  • Assisting with loading/unloading drums, push-out/two aircraft functions, and connecting/removing ground support units.
  • Maintaining work areas, ramps, and facilities, including cleaning and security monitoring.
Responsibilities
  • Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure.
  • Load and unload cargo on and off aircraft safely.
  • Operate ground support equipment such as belt loaders, tugs, and carts.
  • Sort and load cargo efficiently.
  • Perform ground service functions like connecting/removing ground power and water services.
  • Assist with aircraft push back, wing walking, and related guide functions.
  • Maintain a secure work environment and report security issues.
Minimum Requirements
  • HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Good communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Work in high-noise environments.
  • Lift and push bags weighing up to 70 lbs.
