Part-Time, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM

Pay: $19–$22 per hour (based on experience)

The Learning Experience – Sterling is seeking a reliable and caring Support Staff / Floater Teacher to assist across multiple classrooms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children of various ages and thrives in a supportive, team-focused preschool and childcare environment.

• Provide classroom support for infant, toddler, and preschool rooms as needed.
• Assist lead teachers with activities, play-based learning, and daily routines.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all children.
• Support transitions, snack time, diapering/toileting, and supervision.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Follow all Virginia childcare licensing and center safety guidelines.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting.
• Flexible, dependable, and comfortable supporting multiple age groups.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Must meet all Virginia state childcare requirements.
