Role
Summary:
Located at the Sterling, VA office, the Estimator will play a crucial role in evaluating and preparing cost estimates for a variety of commercial repair and restoration projects. This includes tasks related to concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and structural reinforcement.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze cost estimates and quantity take-offs for commercial repair and restoration projects.
- Oversee project budgets and monitor costs to ensure they align with financial expectations.
- Facilitate effective communication with clients and project teams.
- Utilize expertise to interpret construction plans and specifications accurately.
- Leverage construction estimating software to generate precise estimates and reports.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with construction estimating software, such as Bid2
Win. - Strong background in cost management and budgeting.
- Excellent communication skills and relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications with accuracy.
