Key Responsibilities- Perform professional cleanings, scaling, polishing, and fluoride or sealant application.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post‑treatment instructions.
- Take and assess digital X‑rays, collaborating with the dentist on planning.
- Support treatment preparation, follow‑up scheduling, and treatment plan discussion.
- Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms and accurate patient records in the practice management system.
- Uphold infection control protocols and comply with OSHA/CDC standards.
- Continuously learn new techniques and contribute to process improvement.
- Valid dental hygiene certification (U.S. preferred).
- Proven experience performing cleanings, scaling, and patient education.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and guide patients toward treatment.
- Knowledge of digital X‑rays, dental software, sterilization protocols, and charting.
- Efficient, punctual, and able to manage time effectively while delivering high‑quality patient care.
