The Senior ISP Estimator will play a critical role in developing accurate, competitive, and profitable cost proposals for low-voltage infrastructure and structured cabling systems within data centers, hyperscale environments, and enterprise facilities nationwide.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for ISP construction projects, including fiber and copper cabling, containment systems, racks, cabinets, power, grounding, and other low-voltage infrastructure.

  • Develop takeoffs, bills of materials, and pricing models for both self-performed and subcontracted work.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, and field operations to ensure constructability and alignment of estimates with field conditions.
  • Support proposal preparation, pricing strategy, and bid presentations for hyperscalers, data center operators, and carrier clients.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive database of unit pricing, vendor quotes, and labor productivity metrics.
  • Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with scope requirements.
  • Participate in project hand-offs, providing detailed cost breakdowns and scope clarification to project management teams.
  • Continuously refine estimating processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with corporate financial goals.

Note: Candidates who do not meet the following minimum qualifications will NOT be considered for this opportunity.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7–10 years of experience estimating low‑voltage or structured cabling projects, ideally within data centers, hyperscale facilities, or carrier hotels.
  • Strong knowledge of ISP construction methodologies, including rack and cabinet builds, ladder rack installation, pathway design, testing, labeling, and fiber/copper terminations.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA/EIA, BICSI, and NEC, as well as current best practices in structured cabling.
  • Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software such as Bluebeam, Accubid, Plan Swift, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in fast‑paced environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent field experience will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting hyperscaler clients such as AWS, Google, Meta, or Microsoft, or large data center operators such as Cloud

    HQ, Digital Realty, or Equinix.
  • Working knowledge of ISP and OSP cost integration for turnkey network infrastructure builds.
  • Experience with design‑build or design‑assist estimating approaches.
  • Established vendor and subcontractor relationships within the low‑voltage and structured cabling industries.
