Lab Supervisor

• Supervise a team of 3+ laboratory technicians performing soil and concrete testing.
• Conduct complex laboratory tests, calculate results, and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain a log of all samples and enter test results into a web‑based program.
• Apply basic mathematical formulas to estimate volumes and inspect constructed work.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment.
• Communicate findings to clients, contractors, engineers, and technicians.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications preferred.
• In‑depth knowledge of ASTM, CTM, and AASHTO testing procedures for soils and materials.
• Valid ACI Level I Concrete, State DOT, or ICC certifications in soils.
• Experience supervising a team is highly desired.
• Strong multi‑tasking and deadline‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and good standing driving record.
• Some travel required.
• Willingness to complete F&R’s pre‑employment screening, including background, drug, and driving record checks.
