Description Are you a highly motivated Systems Engineer looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact? SAIC has an immediate opening for an innovative Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) to provide direct customer support on a critical development effort. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop system requirements in collaboration with SMEs and stakeholders
* Analyze mission-level objectives and translate into clear, stakeholder-oriented operational plans (CONOPS)
* Strategically review developer's systems designs throughout all phases, including conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs
* Collaborate on verification and validation test plans and reviews to ensure systems meet customer objectives
* Provide insightful status reports, risk assessments, and identification of opportunities for multiple customer stakeholders
* Proactively monitor and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery
* Assist in crafting project review briefings for executive-level milestone presentations
* Foster collaborative relationships through timely, precise communication with customer and contractor stakeholders
* Represent the customer with authority and expertise during key test events Qualifications
* Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Polygraph clearance
* Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field
* Minimum of 9 years of systems engineering experience
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Experience in a technical advisory role as a bridge between technical teams and high-level leadership
* Demonstrated expertise writing requirements documents, test plans, standard operating procedures and other standard engineering documents
