What You'll Do Onboarding & Training Documentation- Lead Day 1 onboarding logistics, ensuring preparedness of materials, workspace, and safety/technical training requirements.
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding, ensuring all documentation, training, and compliance tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Track and document employee onboarding, safety certifications, and required training modules.
- Maintain training logs and filing systems to ensure accurate, audit-ready records.
- Review and validate I-9 documentation.
- Engage local colleges and universities and build relationships to support recruitment from relevant programs.
- Represent the business in career fairs and other recruiting events, update social media accordingly.
- Coordinate interviews, onsite visits, and candidate communication with hiring managers and recruiters.
- Post jobs, manage applicant flow, and ensure accurate applicant tracking in ATS platforms.
- Maintain interview records and hiring documentation in alignment with compliance standards.
- Ensure a positive, professional candidate experience.
- Oversee office operations, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Manage supplies, meeting rooms, vendor coordination, and general office upkeep.
- Support coordination of events, meetings, and onsite training sessions.
- Act as a resource for field employees and leadership requiring administrative or HR support.
- Become proficient in systems and operational workflows.
- Maintain accurate employee and candidate data across platforms.
- Support ongoing process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Serve as the local point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing timely, professional guidance and escalating issues appropriately.
- Maintain organized personnel files, training documentation, and compliance records.
- Support HR processes such as policy communication, employee status changes, and data updates as needed.
- 3+ years of HR coordination, HR operations, or recruiting coordination experience, ideally in construction, manufacturing, trades, or other field-based environments.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Communications or related.
- PHR or other related HR certification preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of HR compliance, particularly recruiting, onboarding and I-9 review.
- Experience supporting both office and field personnel preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable serving as the onsite representative of HR.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems quickly; prior HRIS/ATS experience strongly preferred.
- You are a reliable, professional resource for employees and hiring managers onsite.
- Onboarding, documentation, and compliance tasks are completed accurately and consistently.
- Candidates experience a smooth, organized recruiting process.
- The office operates efficiently and reflects a high standard of professionalism.
