Dev Sec Ops Engineer - Position Description
About Us:
Secunetics provides network infrastructure intelligence services to government agencies and commercial clients. We work with our clients to fully profile network structures, behaviors, and security. We are a focused team of enthusiastic colleagues working together on a diverse and challenging set of projects.
We are looking to grow our team and are seeking a Dev Sec Ops engineer to work on a variety of projects, from cloud-based web applications to on-premises systems using a wide range of technologies. The ideal candidate has experience developing software, automating CI/CD pipelines, and applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage cloud and on-prem infrastructures, all with a consideration of security.

We are looking for a team member with the following skills/experience:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- SELinux
- VMware vSphere and ESXi
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Ansible
- Terraform
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Git Lab CI/CD or Git Hub Actions
- Relevant professional experience in Dev Ops, Dev Sec Ops , Sec Dev Ops , or related areas
Additional preference is given for the following:
- Development experience with Python
- Frontend development experience with Java script and React
- Experience developing applications for cloud-based platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with security compliance programs such as FedRAMP, PCI, or HIPAA
- Knowledge of networking and security concepts and technologies
- Familiarity with enterprise management and performance engineering concepts
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or related field
