The Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team is a project management and execution team that manages construction activity within operational data center spaces. The CPI team is tasked with critical infrastructure improvement projects to optimize utilization of space, power, and cooling within operational data centers around the world. These activities are outside the scope of standard construction delivery and regular preventative maintenance tasks.
The CPI team is seeking a Manager to oversee a team of Data Center Project Managers and serve as a liaison between our internal operational and business customers. This role requires a hands‑on approach to management, strategic thinking, innovative solution development, strong communication skills, and the ability to leverage data to drive improvements.
Responsibilities include:
oversee team workload and throughput, prioritize projects based on business impact, develop and share metrics, manage deliverables against deadlines, drive improvements by eliminating waste, increase productivity, coach your team, and delegate tasks while utilizing individual strengths.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of work in data centers with emphasis on building and equipment operation experience.
- 5+ years of managing and building teams, including hiring, mentoring, and coaching.
- 3+ years experience in contractor management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years managing a team of five or more direct reports.
- Strong strategic thinking, execution, and motivation skills in ambiguous environments.
- Fundamental understanding of power distribution and data center mechanical cooling systems.
- BA or BS degree in a technical discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, incorporate feedback, and evaluate new ideas with stakeholders.
- Proven track record in delivering results in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and building programs with elegant solutions.
- High attention to detail, data‑driven decision making, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships.

Compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay ranges from $119,400 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $227,800 per year in our highest geographic market. Additional compensation such as equity, sign‑on payments, and benefits may be provided. For more information, please visit
