Overview
CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented junior level Logistician with Agile methodology experience to join our CBP Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative ITI
2.1 team in Northern Virginia. Join this team supporting Agile Software Development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
As a member of the ITI
2.1 Team, you will support personnel safeguarding the American people and enhancing national security. CBP Officers and Border Patrol agents work on the front lines to protect national security by integrating customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated activity.
CACI agile programs foster innovation and seek individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex technical and procedural problems at the team and portfolio levels. Adaptability and the ability to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team are crucial.
Responsibilities- Assist in Integrated Logistics Support efforts and service operations. Under supervision, support senior team members in developing technical logistics products and participate in various aspects of logistics operations.
Responsibilities include: - Assist in maintaining and updating maintenance concepts and requirements
- Support the management of repair parts, spares, and consumables inventory
- Help gather system technical data
- Participate in training programs for CBP and civilian personnel
- Assist in packaging, handling, storage, and transportation tasks
- Support customer service operations for field technicians and logistics partners
- Help monitor the flow of goods and materials
- Assist in gathering data for metrics and reports
- Participate in research and data collection for project needs
- Support the drafting of technical papers under guidance
- Assist in monitoring cost and schedule of projects
- Help respond to customer inquiries
- Support the verification of product technical quality
- Assist in the development of integrated logistics plans and other related documents
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, including 3-year felony check, 1-year illegal drug use check, and 1-year misconduct check
- Applicable combination of education and experience:
- Junior Logistician P2:
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field and 3 years of logistics or related experience - Senior Logistician P3:
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field and 5 years of logistics or related experience - Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of logistics
- Must be available to work a hybrid schedule with an on-site requirement in Sterling, VA
- Some exposure to government logistics operations
- Basic understanding of equipment lifecycle management
- Familiarity with Level of Repair Analysis
- Familiarity with Maintenance Expenditure Limits
- Familiarity with Qualitative/Quantitative Personnel Requirements Information
- Familiarity with Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data
- Familiarity with Lifecycle Sustainment Planning

Pay Range:
The final salary is influenced by location, experience, skills, and education. Our benefits include healthcare, wellness, retirement, and continued education opportunities. The proposed salary range for this position is $59,600 - $122,100.
