Are you ready to shape the future of intelligence systems? CACI is seeking a talented Infrastructure/System Administrator SME to join our team in Sterling, VA. In this role, you'll design cutting-edge system architectures for new and existing computer systems, coordinating all aspects of development including design, modeling, security, integration, and testing. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving project milestones and developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Support the design, security and maintenance across the cloud and hybrid/cloud computing environments that power our software development lifecycle. Act as a critical bridge between system operations and development teams, managing a robust infrastructure that spans AWS cloud services and on-premises data centers. Manage a highly available, scalable, and automated environments, ensuring developers have the secure access, CI/CD tools, and computing resources they need to build, test, and deploy code efficiently.

Perform systems design, development, and integration throughout the entire system life cycle. Implement moderately complex infrastructure, including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Conduct systems modeling, simulation, and analysis to optimize performance and efficiency. Maintain robust security measures, including backup and redundancy strategies. Prepare and comprehensive documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.

Qualifications:

Required:

Active TS/SCI security clearance (Willing and able to obtain a polygraph)
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, a relevant field or equivalent experience

Minimum of 7 years' experience as an IT system administrator, or related experience.

Technical understanding of:
Cloud

Infrastructure: Deep expertise in AWS core services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and Systems Manager (SSM). Hybrid Networking:
Proven experience configuring AWS Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPNs, and hybrid DNS architectures. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Hands-on proficiency with Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation to provision multi-environment stacks. CI/CD Platform Support:
Experience maintaining and scaling the infrastructure for Git Lab CI or Git Hub Actions. Operating Systems & Scripting:
Advanced administration of Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments, utilizing Bash, Python, or Power Shell for automation.

Demonstrated proficiency as a Linux system administrator. Strong scripting and coding skills, particularly in Python, or similar languages. Desired:

Expertise in operational support and system maintenance. Familiarity with Containerization & Orchestration, managing native Kubernetes clusters and AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) or native Kubernetes clusters with Ansible automation.

Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator

Experience with automation and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, virtual networking)
