TITLE: Supply Chain Analyst

POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

DEPARTMENT: Procurement

POSITION REPORT TO: Senior Supply Chain Manager

REVISION DATE: 1/2025

SUMMARY: A Supply Chain Coordinator provides support to the supply chain department. They will be involved with various project-oriented tasks to ensure that the implementation is carried out from project start to finish. This is an onsite position.

Experience

• The position requires a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, dedication to seeing process improvements
• The candidate must be well organized, sensitive to handling confidential information and detail oriented.
• Strong Analytical skills

Education

• Degree in Supply Chain Management.
• Prior experience in supply chain / logistics departments
• Ability to handle inter-departmental projects
• Strong communication, memorization, and teamwork skills.
• Outstanding organizational and investigative abilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with logistics requirements and resolve issues with service providers
• Work with subject matter experts to understand context in datasets and processes
• Analyze, hypothesize, and experiment with datasets to deliver insight
• Assist in the development of data driven products
• Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of the companies' processes
• Support Buyers in identifying key business opportunities
• Understand the strategies of the facility and develop plans to support those strategies
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that guide or support service
• Participate in the identification, creation, or implementation of tools and best practices
• Communicate strategic recommendations and execute a course of action for overall improvement in operations, service, warehousing
• Work directly with Senior Supply Chain Manager
• Execute continuous improvement projects
