Commercial Moving Operations Manager – Sterling, VA

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing daily operations for commercial and office & industrial (O&I) relocations
• Supervising moving crews, drivers, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution
• Coordinating logistics, equipment, and schedules for local and long-distance moves
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Maintaining client relationships and handling on-site issue resolution
• Reviewing and approving job estimates and move plans
• Conducting pre-move surveys and site inspections
• Overseeing warehouse and inventory operations related to commercial moves
• Managing budgets, labor allocation, and cost controls
• Collaborating with sales and customer service teams
• Training and mentoring staff to uphold performance standards
• Using move management software to monitor job progress and documentation

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in commercial/O&I moving operations (5+ years experience)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Solid understanding of DOT compliance and moving industry regulations
• Ability to manage multiple large-scale move projects concurrently
• Experience with warehouse and fleet operations
• Proficiency in move scheduling and logistics software
