Contract Manager will be responsible for assisting the entire subcontracting process, from selection and onboarding to performance management and payment.
Your role is essential in maintaining positive relationships with subcontractors and ensuring projects are executed efficiently and within budget. This position plays a crucial role in managing subcontracting activities within the company.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Responsibilities
:
- Identify and evaluate potential subcontractors based on project requirements, quality standards, and cost considerations.
- Solicit bids, review proposals, and negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
- Prepare and administer subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Clarify terms, conditions, scope of work, and deliverables with subcontractors.
- Monitor contract performance and enforce terms as necessary.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new subcontractors, including necessary documentation and approvals.
- Ensure subcontractors adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of subcontractor qualifications and certifications.
- Cultivate positive relationships with subcontractors to promote collaboration and resolve issues promptly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors regarding project‑related inquiries and concerns.
- Monitor subcontractor performance against project milestones and quality standards.
- Implement performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to assess subcontractor effectiveness.
- Review subcontractor invoices and verify accuracy against contractual terms.
- Process payments to subcontractors in a timely manner and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with subcontractor activities.
- Implement strategies to address disruptions or delays caused by subcontractors.
