Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position specializing in orthopedic surgery, requiring prior OR and ortho/spine experience.

• Active RN license (VA or compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• 1-2 years of general OR experience required
• 1-2 years of ortho spine experience required
• Advanced skills in ortho total joints, sports/spine, podiatry, and hand procedures preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Ambulatory surgery center setting with 2 operating rooms
• 1:1 patient ratios with circulator/scrub and assistant staffing support
• Uses paper charting documentation system
• Patient population includes ortho sports, total joints, spine, podiatry, and hand cases
• Performs orthopedic procedures including total joints (hips, knees, shoulders), sports (arthroscopy, ACL/PCL/MPFL repairs), spine (ACDF and lumbar laminectomy), podiatry, and hand surgeries
• Monday through Friday schedule, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with case volume dependent on daily caseload
• May float to other surgery centers within the division/area
• 8-week assignment length
• Grey scrubs provided as required uniform
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
