Job Title:Quality Control Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Manager to oversee the construction of a $40 million insulated warehouse at Fort Meade. The project is currently a year in progress with two more years to completion. The role involves managing the construction’s steel structure, concrete, MEP installations, and the overall build.
Responsibilities- Implement the entire Quality Control (QC) program.
- Attend all post‑award conferences, CQC plan meetings, and coordination and mutual understanding meetings.
- Conduct CQC meetings.
- Perform the three phases of the quality control process.
- Review and approve submittals.
- Ensure all required testing is performed.
- Experience in quality control and OSHA compliance.
- Experience with federal construction projects and USACE regulations.
- Must possess an active QC certification.
- Experience managing projects valued at $25 million or more.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain an AOC Badge.
- Certified Quality Control Manager.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
The position is located on the construction site at Fort Meade. Work will be conducted during daytime hours and involve working with cutting‑edge technology. Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Sterling, VA.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90 000‑$140 000 per year.
