Customer Support Representative

Overview

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C., is hiring a Customer Support Representative in Dulles, Virginia. The Customer Support Representative position is responsible for telephone product sales and support to prospects and help grow the parts, service and machine/rental business with assigned accounts. Collaborate and work with other sales team members to develop and deliver solutions to customers.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in the heavy equipment industry, preferably with a service background; demonstrated success in a sales environment is required; a college degree in a related field is preferred.

• Provide telephone product sales and support to assigned accounts to help grow parts, service and machine/rental business.
• Collaborate with other sales team members to develop and deliver solutions to customers.

Physical requirements include the ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Able to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 20 pounds.
