Our client, a leader in the refrigeration industry, is seeking a Technician - Refrigeration to join their team. As a Technician - Refrigeration, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, aligning successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Technician - Refrigeration

Location: Sterling, Virginia

Pay Range: $40-45.00 per hour

• Operate, test, troubleshoot, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Perform planned maintenance on all ammonia refrigeration and utility systems.
• Conduct daily rounds and inspections of temperatures and conditions of the ammonia system.
• Complete all applicable documentation as required and directed by the department manager.
• Adhere to all company policies, including safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Must have GCAP and/or RETA combined with EPA Type II Certification.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on ammonia experience.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and pulmonary function test.
• Willingness to complete a 24‑hour HAZMAT class.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance and electrical/electronic systems.
