Steel Thread Software, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Software Developer to join a fast-paced startup environment working with both commercial and government clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design, install, test, and maintain software systems.
• Participate in requirements definition, perform conceptual and detailed design, code, and unit testing of critical software components, and lead integration testing.
• Generate formal design documentation, Interface Control Documents, and document interfaces between programs.
• Support the development of Acceptance Test Plans and Procedures, and customer design review materials.
• Contribute cross-functionally on Agile development teams.

Skills:

• Hands-on experience with database design and maintenance using Mongo
  
  DB, Postgres, MySQL, and other No
  
  SQL databases.
• Familiarity with build and deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Maven, and Ant.
• Strong configuration management experience with Subversion and GIT.
• Experience managing development environments using VMware, Open Stack, and similar tools.
• Proven ability to write and execute unit tests using JUnit, Karma, and other testing frameworks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a corporate development environment.
