Ultrasound Tech, Breast Specialty – Trinity Health System (Steubenville, OH)

Performs diagnostic Ultrasound procedures at a technical level requiring limited supervision. Utilizes existing standards as a guide. Demonstrates independent judgment in completing routine exams. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures with U.S. Tech III, including specialized U.S. areas such as Interventional Ultrasonographic Special Procedures and Portable Imaging. May be assigned station fill positions within other department areas. Provides direction to U.S. Tech(s) I.

Can and will take "Call Duty" within assigned area as required. Prioritizes patient care and strives for the utmost quality as a technologist.

• High school graduate.
• Completion of an A.M.A. approved school of Clinical Ultrasound Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or other recognized credentialing body (e.g., ARRT) with at least one ultrasound specialty.
• Must have breast (BR) specialty certification.
• Mammography certification welcome but not required.

• Minimum one year clinical ultrasound experience.
• Demonstrated clinical skills necessary to function independently and take "Call Duty" within the division.
• BLS provider or obtain within 3 months of hire.

• Physical examination pending hiring.
• Background check.
