Overview
Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized mental health and substance use service provider, is seeking a mobile crisis therapist to join our Jefferson County, Ohio team.
Are you a licensed social worker or counselor (LSW/LISW, LPC/LPCC) who is passionate about behavioral health? Are you looking to make a meaningful difference in the Jefferson County community? We are currently looking for a full-time licensed therapist.
Employee PackageEmployee Package includes*:
- $55,000 to $65,000 salary range depends on educational level, licensure level, experience and shift worked
- Supervision toward independent licensure, if needed

- Reimbursement for credential renewals
- Respond to crises for adults who are in the community, at hospitals, in jails
- Triage, de-escalation, assess, safety plan and link persons to behavioral health services
- When needed, complete involuntary admission paperwork associated with role as a health officer
- Complete well checks on adults
- Provide follow up for individuals who have experienced a mental health emergency
- Coordinate and collaborate with community resources and stakeholders
- Complete outcome reporting
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives
- Provide community engagement and education
- A bachelor's degree or master's degree in Social Work and Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
- A master's degree in Community Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling and licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Willing to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number and Ohio Medicaid Provider Number (we will help)
- Excellent Driving Record
- Trauma focused and strength-based philosophy
- Exercises balanced judgment in highly charged situations while remaining calm and consistent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work hours other than 8am-5pm, for example noon to 8pm M-F.
- Master's degree LSW
- Master's degree Independently Licensed staff (LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, LPCC-S)
- Experience with community behavioral health crisis services, psychiatric hospitals, emergency rooms
