Position responsibilities and required qualifications for a Registered Nurse in the Birth Center.

• As an employee of Trinity Health System, contribute to the hospital’s mission and strategic plan in the areas of People, Service, Quality, Finance and Growth in a team-based environment. Perform all job duties in compliance with laws, regulations, and accrediting agency standards.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Training and
  
  Experience:
  
  Previous Medical Surgical experience required; previous obstetrical experience preferred.
• BLS Provider or obtain within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS Provider or obtain within 12 months of hire.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) or obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Health and Background Requirements:
  Employment contingent upon successful completion of physical examination and other pre-employment requirements; must be physically able to perform all job duties as assigned.
