Overview

ULTRASONOGRAPHER ($15,000 Sign-on Bonus) at Trinity Health System

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures at a technical level with limited supervision of technical detail. Utilizes existing standards as a guide and applies independent judgment in routine exams/procedures. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures in conjunction with U.S. Tech III, including specialized areas such as interventional ultrasonographic procedures and portable imaging. May be assigned station fill in other areas of the department.
  
  Provides direction to U.S. Tech(s) I. May take call duty within the assigned area as required. Prioritizes patient care and maintains high quality as a technologist.

• Education
  :
  High school graduate. Satisfactory completion of an AMA-approved school of Clinical Ultrasound Technology. Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or another recognized credentialing body (e.g., ARRT) with at least one ultrasound specialty (e.g., Medical, Abdominal, OB/GYN, Ophthalmic, Cardiac, Vascular).
• Training and Experience
  :
  Minimum of one year clinical ultrasound experience. Demonstrates clinical skills necessary to function independently and to take call duty within the division.
• BLS provider or obtain within 3 months of hire.
