The Payroll Processor is accountable for collecting timekeeping information, incorporating a variety of deductions into a bi-weekly payroll, and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees.
EssentialKey Job Responsibilities
- Processes biweekly payroll in a timely manner
- Maintains payroll related information within the payroll/Kronos system
- Advises hospital departments of proper payroll procedures/policies
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all matters pertaining to employee payroll information
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Must have a High School diploma/GED.
- Some college or work experience in accounting/finance would be preferred.
- Must have excellent mathematical and data entry skills.
- Ability to process basic functions and formulas in Microsoft Excel.
- Average typing speed of 50 WPM required.
- Prior payroll experience a plus.
- Strong attention to detail required.
