Overview
My client, a Top 40 UK firm of Chartered Accountants, is seeking an Accounts Assistant Manager to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients and act as a main point of contact
- Prepare and review year‑end accounts
- Oversee VAT returns and tax compliance (personal & corporate)
- Review junior staff work and provide training/support
- Assist with workflow management and deadlines
- 3+ years' experience in an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of accounts, VAT, and tax
- Experience reviewing work and mentoring staff
- ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (desirable)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
