Responsibilities- Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring all statutory accounts and tax filings are completed to the highest standards.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of accounting services, including management accounts, VAT returns, and financial forecasting.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing proactive insights into business performance and tax efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate workflow for the Stevenage accounts team to ensure all internal and HMRC deadlines are met.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and support the Partners in business development and networking initiatives.
- Manage and mentor a team of junior staff and trainees, reviewing their work and supporting their professional growth and ICAEW/ACCA studies.
- Review complex financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Utilize and implement advanced cloud accounting solutions such as Xero and Quick Books to streamline client processes.
- Liaise directly with clients to resolve technical queries and provide high-level financial guidance.
- Collaborate with specialist tax and audit departments to provide a holistic service to your client portfolio.
