An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator / Receptionist to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company based in Stevenage. This role is ideal for a proactive and customer-focused individual who thrives in a busy environment.
The role is primarily based in Stevenage; however, you will occasionally be required to travel to other company sites to provide support when needed. You will therefore need to hold a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities for the Administrator / Receptionist role:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors.
- Assist with event bookings, meeting room management and general administrative tasks.
- Support the Office Manager and provide cover when required.
- Ensure high standards of organisation, operations and compliance with procedures.
- Handle incoming calls and enquiries efficiently, ensuring information is recorded accurately and passed to the appropriate person.
- Travel to other company sites to provide reception and administrative support when required.
- Previous experience within an administrative role is essential.
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential, as you will need to travel to other sites when required.
- Strong customer service skills with a confident and professional approach when dealing with customers and visitors.
- Good Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn and use CRM and other business systems.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident handling enquiries.
- Able to work independently, use initiative and remain organised when working under pressure.
- A flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic salary c. £29,500 pa
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- 25 days' holiday + bank holidays + extra days at Christmas
