The POA administrative team supports the entire patient pathway, from the registration of TCI card information and creation of POA referrals through to the completion of the POA process.
Key responsibilities include:
Registering TCI information and creating POA referrals.
Sending patient digital questionnaires for early intervention.
Booking patients into the appropriate POA clinics.
Preparing clinic lists and requesting and chasing medical records ahead of clinic appointments.
Receiving and assisting patients attending appointments.
Providing administrative support to nursing staff during clinics. Recording attendance and patient departures accurately.
Processing clinic outcomes and arranging follow-up appointments and investigations.
Managing appointment cancellations and DNAs.
Liaising with Waiting List teams, clinical staff, and the Medical Records department.
Escalating queries and issues to ensure patients progress efficiently through their pathway.
