RF Microwave Technician

Responsibilities & required experience:
Experience working within RF, microwave, microelectronics or high-frequency electronic environments.
High-standard soldering experience, ideally to IPC standards (certification advantageous).
Experience working on precision assemblies and small, intricate components using microscopes and specialist tools.
Assembly, fitting and testing of RF and microwave products, including passive microwave structures.
Understanding of coaxial connectors, wave guides, couplers and filter tuning would be advantageous.
Exposure to power handling devices, switching devices and high-power testing activities would be advantageous.
Familiarity with Vector Network Analysers (VNA) and RF measurement techniques.
