Dynamic (Hybrid) Working: 1–3 days per week on site due to workload classification

Security clearance:
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) after the offer stage, managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Within MBDA we have two procurement departments responsible for the partnership and collaboration with over 3,000 UK and international suppliers. These suppliers enable us to provide world‑leading defence capabilities for our home nations and their allies, so effective management of these relationships is imperative.

You will join either the Industrial Procurement and Supply Chain (ISP) or Major Equipment Procurement (MEP) function on this programme. Regardless of which area you are placed in, you will gain real insight into procurement within MBDA. We will work with you during the recruitment process to match your skills and aspirations to the function that best fits you.

ISP focuses on direct and indirect procurement as well as supply‑chain management, so you will be involved in bringing essential product parts, test equipment, consulting services, or telecoms into the business to keep the whole operation running.

MEP manages commercial and business relationships with both UK and overseas companies, providing subsystems, systems, studies, and customer support. You will work on risk management, supplier strategy, and procurement of value‑for‑money solutions. Subcontract management is an important task, giving you opportunity to draft and amend terms and conditions and negotiate and manage key relationships that MBDA has.

Currently studying for a degree in Business and Management or a related discipline.
