• Develop business strategy to maximise identified business opportunities.
• Play a key role in winning new work, including full Route to Contract, driving the bidding process, ensuring cross‑functional collaboration to deliver costs on time, generating proposals and negotiating contracts while maintaining viability.
• Ensure contract delivery, ensuring the client meets its promises to customers.
• Negotiate to gain acceptance and agreement on issues and amendments, ensuring contractual compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, focusing on collaboration.
• Act as the point of contact for project contractual information and agreements, including providing legal advice.
• Communicate with personnel at all levels.
• Report to senior management on contract progress.
• Represent the commercial team in progress reviews and customer meetings.
• Analyse and solve complex issues daily with a multi‑functional team as required.
• Work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Handle day‑to‑day administration and maintenance of company systems.

• Confident communicator, both written and verbal.

Must hold or be eligible to hold BPSS clearance.
