• The specification and management of works to ensure all homes offered for letting meet the council’s lettable standard.
• Providing a comprehensive surveying service for the council’s property/building assets to ensure they are compliant.
• Minimising voids times, rental loss and waiting times for new tenants by managing the specification and delivery of works to empty homes efficiently.
• Monitoring the progress of works and ensuring all works are carried out safely, to the required standard and timescale.

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload within agreed targets.
• The ability to build effective working relationships.
• Knowledge of building construction and relevant health and safety requirements/legislation.
