Waltham Cross Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in Waltham Cross.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos services across London, Hertfordshire, and the surrounding regions. Working across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector properties, you’ll benefit from a varied workload, structured scheduling, and genuine long-term career progression.
As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will undertake both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a diverse portfolio of client sites throughout London and the Home Counties.
Working independently with the support of an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will ensure all work is completed to the highest standard while maintaining full compliance with HSG
264, HSG
248, current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.
Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG
264
Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG
248
Conducting bulk asbestos sampling and producing accurate survey reports
Producing accurate and compliant analytical reports
Working across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector properties
Managing your own diary and workload efficiently
Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS proceduresBOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)
Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst Strong understanding of HSG
264, HSG
248, and current asbestos legislation
Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable
Full UK driving licence
Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
