Project Manager - Commercial fitout

  • Location: Hybrid (Hertfordshire-based office with site travel)

Reed Agency is currently recruiting for a Project Manager position on behalf of our client. This role is perfect for a professional with extensive experience in managing multiple projects, including fit-outs and refurbishments. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Manage various projects including fit-outs, refurbishments, and installations.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress, manage costs, and ensure quality and programme delivery.
  • Handle project variations and change management processes, prepare snagging lists, and oversee project close-out activities.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety, and client requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and reporting.
Required Skills &

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A good understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and quotations.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
  • A professional and customer-focused approach.
