The Revit Technician will support the transition from our current CAD system to Autodesk Revit by creating and maintaining intelligent Revit models for showroom displays, products and layouts. Working with the Showroom Development team, they'll convert existing CAD drawings into coordinated Revit models, helping improve design efficiency, consistency and collaboration across the business. The position is based at our Stevenage Office 8am-5pm
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and development of Revit models for showroom layouts, displays and product ranges.
- Convert and recreate existing CAD drawings into accurate, intelligent Revit models.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive Revit library containing parametric families for products, furniture, fixtures, appliances, accessories and showroom components.
- Develop company Revit templates, standards and workflows to support consistency across all projects.
- Create detailed 3D models, plans, elevations, sections and technical drawing packages from Revit.
- Ensure all Revit content is accurate, coordinated and maintained as products and showroom standards evolve
- Lead the training within Showroom Development for an easier transition to Revit
- Work with the Showroom Development team to model new concepts, display updates and refurbishment projects.
You must comply with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and responsibilities outlined within the Integrated Management System
About You- Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
- Experience creating complex Revit models and parametric families from scratch.
- Strong understanding of BIM principles and model management.
- Experience converting or recreating legacy CAD drawings within Revit.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction information.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
